Accessibility Statement
Clinical Research Data Management Guide serves a field whose entire purpose depends on information being reliable and usable by everyone who needs it. The site should meet that standard too. Our target is WCAG 2.2 Level AA — a target we design and test against, not a certification or a claim of perfect compliance.
What we do
- Semantic HTML and landmark regions
- Logical heading structure on every page
- Full keyboard navigation, with a skip-to-content link
- Visible focus indicators
- Sufficient color contrast, with meaning never conveyed by color alone
- Responsive layout that reflows under zoom
- Reduced-motion support (prefers-reduced-motion)
- Labelled, described form fields
- Data tables with captions and header scope
- Text alternatives for meaningful visuals
- Adequate touch-target sizing
- Descriptive link text
As the site grows to include charts, capability matrices, and data visualizations, each will be accompanied by a textual explanation of what it shows — visual data will never be the only way to get the information.
We review accessibility as part of development, combining manual keyboard and structural review with automated checks. Automated tools catch only a fraction of accessibility issues, which is why we don't treat passing them as proof of compliance.
